Over a month. Its been that long???

My fantastical enthusiasm in starting a blog: "I'm going to post every.single.day.  I am going to research and write about interesting things that others like to read.  I am going to be funny and have lots of good pictures.  I'm going to be the next big thing in blogging.  Everyone is going to read it.  Its going to catch on and people will start following and its going to help me lose weight and stay focused and get healthy and make babies."

Reality: "I'm going to post consistently for about 30 days and then I am going to forget or be too busy/tired/hungry/tired/lazy/busy and/or tired to keep it up on a regular basis."

Boo.

I have not made a lot of progress in the weight loss area or in the baby area (as of today - still 4 days til AF).  Its not surprising since I stuck to my plan about as well as I stuck to this blog.

There is one good thing that has come out of this so far though - I am learning about eating natural foods.  We are eating more fresh food than ever and are working on eliminating processed food and meat from our diets.  I have seen minor improvements in my health because of these changes.  I would go into detail but its stuff that no one wants to read about.
Unless they have some weird fetishes... In which case there are other websites for that.

So I am just going to update for today and then work on doing to same for tomorrow.  One day at a time.

Weight: 212 (apparently my magic number - lotto anyone?)
Exercise: yesterday - short bike ride with kids and some light outside work.
Diet: yesterday - horrible. Too much Mexican food and margaritas....

Happy Sunday everyone!

  2. Hey, Mer, all of these things are items we can only partially contribute to/help along. For the great majority of the time, baby making, time for blog writing/breathing, etc. are all subject to so many other factors. I'm with you on all items!

  3. Thanks. Sometimes I just wish I didn't actually have to sleep so I can do all the things I want to as well as all the things I have to do....
