Day 1. And away we go!

Today's weight: 212.6
I will post measurements on Wednesday which from here on after will be my official picture/stats posting day.  (I actually have a plan for this, if you can believe it!)

Not as bad as I thought it might be, but it definitely is not good.  According to this chart: http://www.healthchecksystems.com/heightweightchart.htm I should be between 136-150lbs.  I'm 5'8" tall and a medium frame.  Now I will say that I have never in my adult life been less than 160.  However at 165-170 I was very fit and trim.  I was working out every day and eating healthy and wore a size 10.  So I would be happy to see that again.

Now for the beginning pictures. I am no photographer but I do have a camera.  I also have an iPhone.  I love my iPhone.  I am pretty sure it loves me too but just hasn't figured out a way to say it yet.  I'm sure they'll come out with an app for that any day now.

These pictures were not taken today, however nothing has changed since I took them so I decided not to  torture myself too much just yet.  I did take them with my iPhone, so that's something.

Please forgive the mess. I have two children 2 and under.  I am busy.  And tired.

As you can see in these pictures, I still look about 6 or 7 months pregnant.  The really unfortunate thing is that it looks that way both front and back in the profile shot.  I'll be working on that.

Today's summary:
No gym workout because I am still hacking up a lung and had to take one kid to the doctor.  I did go on a mile or so bike ride with the kids this evening.

I sort of bombed on my diet.  I am pretty sure I stuck within my calories but I didn't get to stick completely with the Bradley plan due to the aforementioned doctor appointment.  Breakfast was 2 eggs scrambled and a cup of coffee.  We had to cram in a quick lunch while we were out so I split a chicken mcnugget meal with the kids.  That's one good thing about having such little kids - they don't care that you're all splitting one meal.  I made up for it in my dinner which was chicken stir fry with bell peppers, onions, carrots, and broccoli in olive oil.  I also did not get in all my water today so that is another thing to work on tomorrow.

So Day 1 got us off and rolling.  Tomorrow I'll be posting more about the Bradley Diet.

Here's to Day 2!
